Ready for my new favorite Terscheckii? Massive frame-eclipsing 16” Meatwad tip here. Cut 2 days ago, so needs another week to callous.
CLONE INFO: There’s this funky monstrose Terscheckii, unlike any Terscheckii I’ve seen before, hidden away from the pathway on the grounds of one of my favorite cactus vendors . I’ve purchased a few cuttings of it over the past few years as cool specimens for myself and friends, but never listed it for sale as “Monstrose Terscheckii” because I assumed that it wouldn’t remain stable as a morphology. Well, I recently checked the regrowth / new pups since my previous cuttings, and got super excited because wow … it *is* stable. So, I negotiated the purchase of the entire mother plant, which I’ll be hauling back to the farm in a few weeks. I have a big fun propagation project ahead! See last pics for examples of a few Meatwad tips that have been growing in ground at the farm. One of them went dichotomous (very last slides) but I wouldn’t call it a revert … the tips are still bunched up with waaaay too many ribs. The other tips have continued to put on new funky growth long after rooting. Btw — I named this new clone after the shape-shifting meatball on Aqua Teen Hunger Force — Meatwad. More to come …

Always expect 7-10 days for cut-to-order cuttings to ship, this allows the callus (exposed cut area) to harden so it can be put in a box without getting fungal rot during shipment.

The cactus you see here is the same cactus you get. I only sell healthy cactus, but there’s always a chance of minor blemishes, marks, black stress blisters that arise after cutting. 628sun
