Here’s the field collection notes Β β€”β€”> T. maranonensis field data:Β Β Formerly T. species BBG # 64.0762 fat, to 5 inches plus thick, nearly spineless, 6-7 ribs. Peru; Sanchez Carrion Provence. Huamachuco district, canyon Rio Maranon N. of Chagual, 5 KM below Aricapampa, La Libertad dept., shaded sides of Quebrada near a stream, 2740 m. It does have a couple of spines on older growth, P.C.Hutchison, J.K.Wright, R.M.Straw #6212 UCBG 7th S.A. expedition 1963-64 .end/. Flawless and extra thick 9” tip to be cut upon purchase.Β
