πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘ Tulhuayacensis from Lotusland β€” Xtra Fat 8.5” Tip

πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘ Tulhuayacensis from Lotusland β€” Xtra Fat 8.5” Tip

I’m the only person I know that has this β€” Tulhuayacensis from Lotusland. Β How’d I get it? Well … CRIME! Β Not really, Β I have a friend that was a Docent/Guide at Lotusland who was allowed to take cuttings on occasion. She described it as β€œdumpster privileges”, because cuttings were only available from trimmings. I got this as a small tip in 2020, and I’ve never cut it since. Note β€” it’s difficult to find many photos of Tulhuayacensis online, and this one looks very different from Patrick Knoll’s example on Trichocereus.net. Β His looks more like a super spiny Cuzco, while this one looks like a beautiful top shelf fancy pants Peruvianus. Β Extra girthy 8.5” tip to be cut upon purchase. Then I’ll take a mid cut below for propagation, because I need more than just one of these!

Why the β€œπŸ‘‘β€œ? Β This means Kingstock, extra primo, and is usually only applied to named clones, though on rare occasions I apply it to a hybrid listing.Β

Instruction for Cut-To-Order cuttings β€”> lay this on its side indoors in a dry place for a minimum of 2 additional weeks while the sulphur-coated callous fully hardens (do this before ever placing upright in dry medium).
