👑💎 Balboa Blue — 10” Tip
Balboa Blue is a stunning Peruvianus / Argentinensis from the collection at Balboa Park in San Diego. The mother plant is no longer there. Why? Because too many pirates took cuttings. It wasn’t me! I’m at least two degrees removed from the original pirate. Note: this has been circulated as a Argentinensis, but according to Bob Ressler, who donated all the Trichos to the garden 30 years ago, there weren’t any Argentinensis given. So, this must be a Peru. Flawless 10” tip to be cut upon purchase. (🌶️ not tested)

“👑“ means Kingstock, usually reserved for named clones or rarer cultivars. “💎” means extra primo, sometimes due to the nature of the cut (extra fat, rare shape etc). 🌶️” means that it packs a punch, two “🌶️🌶️” is my highest ranking, and none (🚫🌶️) usually means that I have no knowledge (yet).
