It must be extra satisfying aesthetically. 2) It must be a cross with known genetics (no NOIDs), and 3) it must pass my bioassay 🤌 🌶️. So, why make it a numbered Jonesy? Because it represents my stamp of admiration, and it’s way more fun for me to “graduate” certain extra lovable crosses upward to clone land. Sure, it’s marketing too, but for me, it’s more about fun than marketing. Or, perhaps, fun and marketing are one in the same.
