💎👑💎 Havran Preorder!
Requests for Havran have flooded in over the past two weeks, so I decided to try something new — custom graft preorders. I’m not offering many, because there are a limited number of Havron pups to graft.
Here is what to expect after you add to cart, checkout and pay.
— Within 3 weeks, you will receive a Havron tip graft on thick unrooted PC. I will only be using Havran pups for these — no slab grafts — so no need to cross your fingers and hope a slab will pup.
— Your Havran graft will be guaranteed for 6 months, so if something goes wrong with your graft during that time, I will simply replace it.
Clone Info: Havran came from a Trichocereus stand of unknown lineage discovered by Greg Havran in Phoenix. It was growing at the base of a tree, up through and supported by the branches, so he gave it the acronym NPTCC — North Phoenix Tree Climbing Cactus. A portion of this stand displayed unique monstrose characteristics, the grafting and propagation of which proved to be persistent. This he named NPTCCM — North Phoenix Tree Climbing Cactus Monstrose.
When I first saw it last year in the collection of Oakes Austin (IG @oakesplants) I exclaimed “that’s the most satisfying fuckin Trike I’ve seen in a looong time, what the fuckin fuck is it?!”. Since then I’ve been propagating it, and have taken the liberty of changing the name from NPTCCM to Havran, which is the last name of the talent scout who found it.
I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s my favorite (looks-wise) Trichocereus. I normally change my mind on a “favorite” every few months, if I even have a favorite at all, but this particular favorite has been stuck in my head as the favorite for over a year now.
