Juul’s x OP — massive stacker, cut E
Juul’s Giant Pachanoi x OP (likely Juul’s x Peruvianus)
Massive beautiful pups. Same clone I’ve listed before, but stacking this time. Further down my friend Bob’s hillside in Carlsbad CA, there’s this other stand. Same clone, except this stand is even better because it’s super stacky (segmented). Why would one stand of the same clone stack, while the other doesn’t? My theory is shade. This lower stand is surrounded by tall oleander bushes.
I’m able to harvest these each year from my good friend’s massive mother stands in Carlsbad CA, who made this cross pert near 20 years ago. According to him, the open side is almost certainly Peruvianus, but since he didn’t do it carefully (net the flowers / hand pollinanate / etc) I have to responsibly call these Juul’s x “OP”.
The cactus you see here is the one you get. We only sell healthy plants, but there’s always a chance of minor blemishes, marks, scars and imperfections. All plants are grown organically.
This plant requires protection from freezing weather, but will tolerate high 20s on rare occasion with frost covering. The Cactus Jones ships from a warm climate zone (no freezing), but please be aware of the weather in your area — will not be held responsible for frozen shipments.
